Next Day Last Night

I can’t remember the faces, I can’t remember the names.
I don’t know from where or when it is that I came.
I think I went home with someone, I remember red hair.
But it must have been the drink that was talking, ‘cause when I woke up she wasn’t there.

Ch: Next day last night is just a haze.
Show me the way to go home.
Next day last night is just a haze.

Please grab me a taxi, I missed the bus and the train you know.
We will stop and take pictures, take it easy take it nice and slow.
They’re waiting down in Wexford, someone will accompany me.
They’ll show me around the town, and we’ll walk to the sea.

And we’ll find a piano, you know it never fails.
I have a few beers, and I start to wail.

I’m not surprised I’m alive, I am amazed.
How do I drink thee, let me count the ways.
If you see me out on the streets, and I look lost and dazed.
You can tell me, the coins I’ve just phrased.

Next day last night is just a haze (3 times)
Next day last night, the next day the last night.
Next day last night is just a haze, someone take me home.
